The Black Cock Inn has undergone many changes over the last three months since it changed Management. Together, we’re a vibrant, happy and hard working team looking to create the best experience through tasty food, good drinks, and most of all, great service.

Come on down and get a taste of some locally brewed beers showcasing a wide range of brewing styles. The Head Brewer will also be on hand to have a chat, while to top it all off will be our selection of food, creating a night which showcases a master class in food and drink.

It’s going to be a great afternoon of family friendly fun, so if your dog has what it takes, bring them along and enter (£1 per class, or 6 classes for £5), otherwise come along and enjoy the afternoon with us – all are welcome, young and old!

For the weekends of July 14th-15th and 21st-22nd, the race is taking over the pub. Come along and support Team Sky in the Tour de France as they race to try and become the first ever British winners of this ultimate cycle race. We’ll have it all on the big screen for you to watch and join in with, along with a special menu to celebrate and plenty of decorations to get you in the spirit!

If you’ve never watched the Tour de France before, or you’re an advid racer who loves it, we want everyone to come on down and join in. Lets make this a pair of wonderful weekends no matter what the British weather may try and throw our way!

Right now, we’re not going to change much in and around the pub. This is something that we want above all to get right, first time. We are working on new and improved menus based around freshly prepared, home-made meals and desserts. Also, behind the scenes we’re sorting a few things out which will give us a strong base from which to build upon over the longer term.

We’ve added a Facebook Page, so if you’re on there, we would love it if you could log in and give us a ‘like’ to keep up-to-date with events, changes and improvements as they happen (along with the odd special offer)!

We’re proud to be running The Black Cock Inn now, so we hope you’ll all join us in toasting this great pub and pop by over the coming weeks and months (even if you’ve never been before), say “Hi!” and see what we’re doing with the place.
